European Tour
The PGA European Tour is now a worldwide golf tour, incorporating tournaments in Europe, North America, Asia and Australasia. Players from all around the world battle for the weekly titles and prize-funds as well as ranking in the Race to Dubai, where the season comes to a climax.
We are privileged to be doing chaplaincy work amongst these players at the top of the game. Not only that, but their families, caddies, administrators, coaches, manufacturers and others who make up this very busy arena all ask for input from us too from time to time.
We travel to events and provide support for Christians by leading bible studies and giving pastoral care, as well as making contact and building relationships with others.
Mark Pinney, is in charge of the chaplaincy team at Logos Golf Ministries, and attends
Tour events throughout the year.
Having spent a number of years deciding between being a professional golfer or a businessman. Mark was called to Christian ministry in the early 1990’s. He was on the staff of Spicer Street Chapel, St. Albans for 6 years involving preaching, pastoral work, evangelism and bible teaching. He has a BA (Hons) Degree in Theology and Pastoral Studies from Oak Hill Theological College, London. Mark was Head of Golf Ministry at Christians in Sport for 5 years before Logos Golf Ministries was established in 2004.
